About the Course
This introductory on-line course will explain what social entrepreneurship is and how you can become one to make a difference in your community or organization. The course will explain where and how social entrepreneurs are making a difference in the world and how collaboration amongst social entrepreneurs for coordinated social action can solve some of the complex problems in our society where traditional efforts have failed. The course will provide details of further training and support resources for those who would like to apply the introduced concepts in practice.

With more than a decade of experience in corporate social investment and community development, Andrea has spent much of her career supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of social impact projects in West Africa, Latin America, and Hawaii. Having worked in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds, she now focuses on building a startup dedicated to democratizing social entrepreneurship, empowering anyone, anywhere to address social issues in the places and communities.
